In the heart of Belle Chasse, LA, the Croatian American Society Cultural Center stands as a vibrant testament to the rich cultural heritage of the Croatian community.  Recently, this beloved institution has undergone a remarkable $4.7 million transformation, spearheaded by  Regal Construction as the Main Contractor.  The Project Designer was Verges Rome Architects and Bomanite Licensee Jeffco Concrete Contractors, Inc. were chosen to install 4,865 SF of decorative concrete in the exterior dining/event space.  Recognizing the need to enhance its outdoor space, the Center’s leadership sought a solution that would not only be aesthetically pleasing but also durable and functional.

In collaboration with the project designers, the decision was made to utilize Bomanite Imprint Systems featuring the Bomanite Small Random Slate pattern to bring their vision to life.  The chosen colors, Bomanite Coquina and Bomanite Nickel Gray, were selected to harmonize with the surrounding rustic wood and stone elements, creating a cohesive and visually appealing exterior dining and event space.  This full-color and imprint project seamlessly integrates with the natural aesthetic of the area, enhancing its overall ambiance.  The project was meticulously executed in seven separate pour phases, ensuring precision and quality throughout the installation process.

For this project, Jeffco Concrete Contractors, Inc. snagged the prestigious 2023 Best Bomanite Imprint Systems Project GOLD Award.  The renovation of the Croatian American Society Cultural Center is a testament to the transformative power of innovative design and expert decorative concrete craftsmanship.  The Bomanite Imprint Systems, featuring the Small Random Slate pattern, have breathed new life into this cherished community space, creating an inviting and enduring outdoor area for all to enjoy.  As the Center enters this new era, it stands as a beacon of cultural heritage and community spirit, beautifully enhanced by the artistry and dedication of Jeffco Concrete Contractors, Inc.
